Keep your tee shot down the left hand side of the fairway as this will open up the green for your approach shot. Don't be long at this hole.

A long dog-legged hole, and with the out-of-bounds course boundary running along the left side from tee to green, this hole favours a fade from the tee. A long second shot awaits. If you find the green in two, you have done well - take two putts on this large green, walk away with a four and you can be very pleased with yourself.

Another card wrecker, the elevated tee gives you a fantastic view of what's ahead. Drive down the slope, avoiding the stream and out-of-bounds on the left and the tree-lined right hand side, to a fairway that inevitably leaves you with a tricky lie. The second shot, over the stream to an elevated, well bunkered green requires careful planning. Good luck !

In years gone by, the 13th was viewed as a real chance to get a birdie on the card, but with the introduction of a carefully placed bunker to the front of the green, this hole is no longer a pushover. With trouble lurking on both sides of the fairway, a sensible shot with a 3 or 5 wood to the fairway will leave a short second. If you're long enough to go for the green off the tee - beware. The risk far outweighs the rewards.

A large sloping green awaits a well struck tee shot. A small lake in front of the tee awaits a poor one ! The green slopes towards the tee, so make sure that you've got enough club to get up to the flag.

As the name suggests, a dog leg par 4 that always seems to play longer than the yardage suggests. A drive edging the left side of the fairway will leave a fairly straightforward second to a narrow green. Miss the fairway, and trouble awaits.

Ladies Yards

A small green that slopes from back to front is protected by the out-of-bounds to the left and trees to the rear. Miss the green and you'll be hard pressed to make your par. Try to leave yourself short of the flag as a lethal downhill putt awaits anything long.

If you've got a good score going, you don't need to be reminded of the name of this hole when you stand on the tee. Many a golfer has been brought to his knees at the hands of the 17th. A big dog leg to the left gives you the option of playing safe and making the hole a 3 shotter, or cutting the corner to have a go at the green, which is protected by the stream.

Out-of-bounds and a ditch run down the left hand side from tee to green on this long testing finishing hole. Play safe down the right hand side from the tee, from where a well positioned second shot will leave an approach shot to the long green, which needs some thought. Long and you're out of bounds in the clubhouse - to the right awaits sand. If you come up short and leave a long testing putt, you'll be hard pressed to secure your par.
