Caroline and Jo would like to welcome you to The Oak Tree Restaurant which incorporates the clubhouse, bar and restaurant area at Holsworthy Golf Club.
Since our arrival here on 1st December we have been thrilled with the support of the club and its members, and also the rising number of non-members which now frequent us for coffee and homemade cakes, bar snacks and Sunday lunches, or that extra special occasion.

Caroline, the chef of the duo, has nearly 20 years experience in the catering industry, having worked at local hostelries. Jo has 15 years experience managing Front of House and bar both locally, in Australia and Surrey. Both being local girls, they have now returned to their roots.

On a day-to-day basis there is a varied selection of snacks and meals from our reasonably priced bar menu, from light bites to steaks, as well as a constantly changing specials board to tempt you.

Come and enjoy Caroline’s Sunday lunch which has proved popular with regulars every week. Everything is home made from starters, to Yorkshires to pudd’s. We would strongly advise you to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

We pride ourselves on using local suppliers and only the best ingredients, scouring the area to source the very finest produce. Our meats are supplied by Philip Warrens of Launceston, cheeses from The Cheese Company at North Tawton, fresh vegetables delivered daily from Ilfracombe by Edds, fresh fish from Plymouth by S & J Fisheries, smoked products from Tregida Smokehouse of Warbstow, to give you a taste of our local flavour.

We have also hosted a number of special occasions, from anniversaries to birthday parties, luncheon clubs to society events and seminars. Whatever your occasion we can cater for you, and with Christmas coming, we very much hope to host your party – whatever the number!
