Holsworthy Ladies: The “Bloodsomes” A Greensomes competition with a difference, your playing partners choose which drive you take, this leads to a lot of hilarity and chipping out from beneath trees, when your partner has hit a perfectly good drive, straight down the middle, but you are asked to pick it up. This game could have only have been dreamed up by someone with a particularly sadistic mind. Nevertheless, Stephanie May & Sylvia Caunter managed to keep themselves out of too much trouble with their drives, winning with a score of 29pts.   Muriel Haywood & Betty Byrne came second on the back nine from Carole Baker & Barbara Abrams with 27pts. Carol Skrzypczak & Margaret Slinger came fourth with 24pts.
