Caroline and Jo would like to welcome you to The Oak Tree Restaurant which incorporates the clubhouse, bar and restaurant area at Holsworthy Golf Club.
 Since our arrival here on 1st December we have been thrilled with the support of the club and its members, and also the rising number of non-members which now frequent us for coffee and homemade cakes, bar snacks and Sunday lunches, or that extra special occasion.
Caroline, the chef of the duo, has nearly 20 years experience in the catering industry, having worked at local hostelries. Jo has 15 years experience managing Front of House and bar both locally, in Australia and Surrey. Both being local girls, they have now returned to their roots.
On a day-to-day basis there is a varied selection of snacks and meals from our reasonably priced bar menu, from light bites to steaks, as well as a constantly changing specials board to tempt you.
Come and enjoy Caroline’s Sunday lunch which has proved popular with regulars every week. Everything is home made from starters, to Yorkshires to pudd’s. We would strongly advise you to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Junior Presentation Christmas Dinner was held on the 19th December 2009 in the Oak Tree Restaurant. 24 juniors attended the dinner and the turkey christmas meal was enjoyed by all, even though Shamus Martin got abit carried away with his pofiterolls!
The Presentation started with Julie Ellis thanking all the juniors for being a good group of kids during the year. She also highlighted that Ross Daniel and Ryan Acres played for Devon in county events this year and pointed out that the junior section should be proud of them. She also wished Will Shepherd, Ross Daniel who is now working at RND as assisstant professional and Simon Moore the outgoing junior captain all the best wishes in their future, as at the turn of the year they will no longer be juniors. Julie went on to thank Ian Moore for all the help he has given with transport, Dan Wood for his coaching and Alex Lock for all his competition organising on a weekend. All three were presented with a bottle of wine each from the junior section as a thank you.
